I got my H50 through and overclocked my AMD X6 1090T to 4GHz. Temps on prime 95 after fourty minutes stable at around 70 - 5 degress above what AMD say to be the max safe level.
So I have two choices facing me for later this year (around May: long time away I know but I need to decide what to do with my components).
Either: get new motherboard and an Intel i5 2500K or just spend the money on a custom waterloop ? A new motherboard will mean hopefully more room for a high end air cooler (such as the Noctua NH-D14) - I cant use a high end air cooler at the moment because the Asus Crosshair IV Formula has the RAM slots positioned stupidly close to the CPU socket.
So new motherboard & cpu or expensive custom waterloop ? The latter would probably be cheaper but I can stretch the budget.
