2 choices

My wifes computer is old and really slow so i was thinking of upgradeing, i have 2 choices .

First is to just upgrade hers at the mommenet she has an old socket 939 system. Main use for her is browsing and watching films

Second is to upgrade my system probably 2500k and put my parts into her computer,
My spec
E8400 3GHZ
4GB ddr800 ocz platinum
Asus P5K Premium

If i sell my parts i think i would only get about £100

Sugestions please

Depends on your budget for any upgrade really, if you can afford it I would go for second option, but you might get carried away spending on your new computer where as you could prob happily limit yourself a bit more doing an upgrade for her

So tempted to upgrade myself, i can afford to but with sandybride e just been released shall i hang on ?

Depends what you want your PC for? 2500k is still fairly beast for the price. Especially for gaming
I'd just go with that as it will be good for a while yet.
