Water cooling my i9 7900x pre binned and delidded bought from overclockers site over 2 years ago. Problem is did a hard tubing build a week ago and under full load 2 cores out of 10 cores are really hot. With a cpu voltage of 1.18v and 4.7 overclock hitting low 60's on 8 cores but on 2 same cores I always hit 78c and 90c  I have reapplied the thermal paste 3 times even reapplied the liquid metal, changed the cpu water block from EK to Aquacomputer still no luck. The gpu rtx 2080 ti seems fine hitting 41c on max load after 30 minutes. I don't know if it's the cpu or the motherboard cpu socket why these 2 same cores always hot? One thing to mention is there is in some places a discoloration on the cpu bottom side this was not before like this.

Sounds like poor liquid metal contact. I’ve see the same before with either too little or too much liquid metal.

Liquid metal it’s best to go with a minimal approach and use just enough. If you tilt the cpu up and you get a slight pooling toward the bottom of the die it’s far too much.

Same with the contact area on the IHS. It needs to be as close to the same size as the die as possible otherwise again it tends to collect outside the die area resulting in hot cores/poor temps.
