2 dead ipod's shall i have a moan?

brought an ipod in America and it died, got the unhappy ipod face on the screen, they replaced it with what looked like a new one, or recon i guess, same thing happened unhappy ipod face on the screen, i think this means the hard drive has died, not sure if maybe one of my songs is buggering it up? i have some weird format! but i doubt it!

shall i have a moan to apple? will they give me anything free or listen to my moan?

i still love ipods and i'm really pleased with the apple repair, they come pick it up, ship me a new one within days all free.. but still 2 dead pods is not good.

also does anyone know if my year warranty is extended from when they ship me this new one?

Have you tried restoring it? Normally iPods show the sad face when you screw up the software on them by pulling them out when they say "do not disconnect". If you cant hear it clicking, it's unlikely to be the hard drive.

i sent it away, and they said they can't fix it, and have posted a new one, so must have been bad, the sad face means it's bad and has to be sent off, although a reset can sometimes get rid.
