2 different delivery dates for same item

Hi all

My other half has a Prime account and on a number of items we have compared delivery dates. I don't have Prime.

The items in question show as being available for delivery tomorrow if I order within the next 7 hours. The exact same items show as delivery on Monday for my partner, if ordered in the next 31 hours.

Why would the Prime subscriber be getting quoted slower delivery than the non-Prime subscriber? The item is clearly available for delivery tomorrow yet the Prime account does not guarantee delivery tomorrow.

Does yours actually guarantee delivery tomorrow, or just that it'll be sent?

Mine says get it tomorrow by selecting one-day delivery. His says get it by Monday by ordering within 31 hours (no option for tomorrow). Delivery to the same address.
 
Have you checked how much delivery would be for you to get it tomorrow, i'd be surprised if it's the usual £4.95.
 
My experience on Prime so far is that they don't usually deliver stuff to me on a Saturday very often, 1 day delivery usually bypasses weekends.

Might also have something to do with my delivery address being my workplace, they may have some way of identifying places of business vs residential, and purposely not trying to deliver stuff to businesses that would often be closed on a weekend.

Yeah sounds like the partners account address is set to commercial so is not showing weekend deliveries as available. I have my work address on my account and that will show Monday as the next day delivery option if ordering on a Friday, but my home address will show Saturday.

Looks like they have change it slightly from when I set it up as you now get the following option on the address

I get my prime stuff the next day without fail. I've just ordered 4 items about 5 minutes ago for example, they will be here tomorrow (Sunday).

I think this might be the issue.
