2 Domains - 1 Website

Hi there,

I am hoping to have two domains pointing to the same site. should i submit them both to google or will one/both get banned for "duplicate" content?

What if i had one on redirect?

Just have one hosting account tied to a domain and then buy another domain and set that as an "add-on" domain, then you can submit them both, no harm in trying.

why not just have one domain point to the other?

On a similar note, is it possible to have a domain pointing to a folder in a domain, but show up as if it the home page of the domain?

eg if I have site1.com, site2.com, and a folder at site1.com/site2/ can I have it set up so that site2.com points to site1.com/site2/ but behaves like it is the domain?

I've tried this, but it just redirects to site1.com/site2/ I have looked at all the settings in cPanel but can't figure out if I've overlooked something

hey jotun, i do this and i just use an add-on domain and point it to the subfolder

Ah, I think I had enabled domain redirection as well, removing the redirection for the domain sorted it. Cheers
