Hi

Is it possible for Outlook to be connected to 2 exchange servers at the same time?

At office A pc is connected to a SBS2008 server for exchange email.

He also needs email from an exchange server at office B which is a different company.

At the moment he VPN's in to office B to get emails from the exchange server but then email from office A stops working.

I don't think I've explained this very well but is there any way to connect to both exchange servers at the same time?

You would have to create a new profile then mail account to the exchange server, depending on what version of Office you are using, I think Pre Office 2010 it wont allow you to do it without creating a new profile, but Office 2010 and beyond has the ability to do what you need.

Running Outlook 2010 with two Exchange accounts here. One local and one on a client's server 40 miles away (both running SBS2011). If you have autodiscovery configured and working it more-or-less takes care of itself.

Thanks. As auto discovery was working the account pretty much set itself up.
