2 Fans off 1 Controller Channel

Quick question, if I run 2 fans off one fan controller channel, will it still display the correct RPM?

As far as I know yes it should but be careful not to burn out the channel with running too much power through it

The controller I've got is the FC5 V2 which can do 30W per channel. The fans I'm planning on doubling up are the Sharkoon SE 800's which are rated at 12 V * 0.1 A = 1.2W each (much less than 30W), if my maths is correct?

only one fan will report the rpm, but it will bereported correctly. I run 3 or 2 from each channel on my 4 channel controller
