2 from Grand Central

Went to Grand Central Station (NY) the other day, and was told I absolutely wasn't allowed to use a tripod. So I stayed very very very still for 3 seconds

(*edit* found a nice wall to use)

The BW one is a bit grainy for me at the moment, have to clean it up.

I really like them both. Was this at rush hour though? There just isn't enough movement in there to make it a really outstanding picture in my opinion.

P.S - A Selective desaturation might work, leaving the main flag in colour

you have a steady hand sir! i think the only part that lets the shot down is the lack of motion blur, apart from that i like it

Uh oh, I think I unintentionally fooled everyone - the hand held bit was a little bit of a half-joke.

I improvised by resting it on a wall. Still, wasn't easy.

These are weekend pics - I agree that rush hour would make it more busy - I'll try again middle of next week

The colour version might be a bit over exsposed. The black and white conversion holds more detail compared to the what appeears to be slightly bleached highlights on the colour version.

Personally, the B&W version stands out more.
