Hi guys I'm looking to get two more monitors to go with my current BenQ 120hz monitor but not sure what I should do.

Because my budget is a bit limited I was looking at the Philips 272G5DYEB 27" with Gsync but was wondering if this would actually work with my older monitor and would I be wasting my money? I've read somewhere that Gsync won't activate unless all monitors are the same. Or should I just get two 60hz screens with low response times for the sides?

I mainly play Iracing and Assetto and have a GTX970 which I won't upgrade for a little time. My current monitor still looks great so I'm very reluctant to spend on three new monitors.

Any advice would be welcome

AFAIK, someone correct me if i am wrong.
Where the game is being "opened" to, so the primary monitor, if that has gsync, it will use gsync technology. If the primary monitor out of the 3 that you plan doesnt have gsync and the 2 slave monitor does, then it wont use gsync.

Are you trying to do surround?

Yeah surround would be great, would be planning on having my old monitor as a side.

I guess i could just live with the old monitor for a while and if it really annoys me i could buy a 3rd Gsync down the track.
