Are the ones on OCUK any good at the moment or is it better to go with the 1.8's?

I'm using a 3200 winnie at the moment that will do 2600 mhz but I'm looking for something that'll give me a performance boost to go with my new x1900 and Asus A8R32-MVP.

Is this a route worth concidering?

it all comes down to how far you can push your fsb. if your going for 3gbz, remember the 2ghz opteron 146's have a multiplier of 10, so you'd need to be running 300fsb to hit that 3ghz. with a 1.8ghz 144, your stuck with a 9 multi, so that's an fsb of 334 that you'll need.

aha, thanks for getting back quickly.

Well I've got the ASUS A8R32-MVP DELUXE on the way. I know there might be an issue with it oc'ing from boot but I'm willing to wait for this to be sorted.

The board will hit high fsb's, i just don't want to have to put too many volts thru the proc to get it there
