2 Gold Accounts on one Xbox 360 system? For use with rock band & guitar hero

Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to use 2 xbox live Gold Accounts on one Xbox 360 system? For use with rock band & guitar hero...

I'm asking this as me n my bro play both the above games together on my system & you have to sign in with each instrument when you play together as you probably know, when he gets achievements we want them to go to his profile that he uses on his xbox 360 & would like to know if this is possible...

Basically his gold profile on my 360 aswell as on his own so he cn get the achievements for playing with me, instead of using a redundant silver profile we created for him

Any help would be much appreciated, i have googled this a lot & can't seem to find a concrete answer. :confused:

Yep. Grab a 64mb MU and just copy the profile on. When you want to play just swap the MU to the other box.

Been doing this since launch to play on my mates box when I visit.

It does work, even if you recover the profile (which takes ages).

I've done it if I go to my brother's house or if he comes to mine.

Ah rite, so just use the recover feature then.

So we both can sign in on a different instrument at the same time?

Will my bro need to recover his profile on his own 360 when he goes back to use his console after he's used his recovered on mine to play?

Yes he will. Unless he has a MU with which he keeps his profile on and can bring that round.

Just get him to save his profile onto that and then sign in as normal when using it on your Xbox and it should work fine!

ok, so each time that he uses his profile on mine he'll need to recover it on his,when he wants to use his then?

If you copy it to the memory unit the tag will effectively be tied to that memory unit; his profile will be accessible on any 360 he plugs it into. He can copy it back off of the MU to his harddrive whenever he wants.

Yeah at home my bro keeps his profile permanently on a MU so that he can pop over to mine and play without having to faff around with recovering profiles.

Have done it now & it is simple & quick with using the MU, a bit worrying that the whole profile is on the MU but can just be recovered anyhow if anything screws up.
