Never really been sure about this...

I have 2 physical hard drives in my PC.

C: Windows 7 64bit <---- has system-managed page file
D: FSX <---- no page file

Do I need to create a page file on D:?

I just kinda noticed it didnt have one. Or does it only really matter on the drive Windows resides on?

Thanks guys :o

Yer, only a single page file is needed by the OS and you can move it between drives should you wish to. However unless D: is significantly faster (e.g SSD) I would just leave it where it is under the control of the Window's memory manager :)

EDIT: I think you can spread the page file across both disks which may give you a small performance boost, but again unless you really have to due to low storage issues or something I wouldn't bother. Just have it in one place, on the fastest drive.

Hey thanks for the info dude :)

I will leave it on the C: and leave D: without one.

For a second I thought that fsx would need its "own" page file but then I realized its probably ony the OS that does that. *Doh*
