I dont think it is mate my atom netbook is around the same temp and its only 1.6Ghz. I think around 50c is normal for a laptop, as it hasnt the big cooling like a desktop also they are designed to run hotter then desktops due to the limited space for cooling. it would be nice to hear other peoples temps. I dont think you have much to worry about. what laptop is it btw?

they look fine to me
mine are at 52c and 54c AMD Turion 64 X2 1.8ghz Mobile
just checked mine with speedfan and my cpu`s are at 47c

LOL seemed a bit low compared to yours.. So i just reset run a few apps and now it is 33 and 31.. And goes upto about 45 but quickly drops back down.
