My son asking for a laptop to help with his studies. I know very little about laptops but his friend (who works in Curry's) has suggested a 2 in 1 laptop as he is doing medicine and "needs" this to be able to draw bio/chem structures.

Gaming not important as he uses Xbox. I think OLED would be desired.

Budget wise I'm thinking £600 to £900 or so and have been looking at the Lenova Yoga 7 (bottom of their range and top of my budget though).

I have no idea if AMD or Intel is better in this area.

(for clarity, it most definitely does NOT have to come from Curry's)

TIA for any knowledge or recommendations.

I'd sooner recommend a surface pro, the screen resolution etx is fantastic for drawing, battery life ivnt bad and a keyboard cover would complete it. I have a SP7 and love it when travelling etc
