Just a quick question.

We currently have BT infinity option 1, we are going over our limit a lot and they have changed our DD to 90 quid a month. It's under my mothers name and of course its far too much.

Anyway they are certain it's me that is the biggest contributor to it. Fair enough however they are never done on youtube and spotify, and my sister downloads torrents like mad when shes home. Not that I don't use them aswell it's all our fault however I am getting the blame.

Not to be a root I gave my mum 100 quid towards the bill as I felt bad for her. But to absolve me of any guilt in the future I am thinking of getting a 2nd line installed with Talk talk and using that for myself.

If we go unlimited it works out all in like 40 quid a month and its still too expensive for my mum, I've told her to switch to sky when shes able as its very low cost and low use.

So anyway, If I ordered talk talk plus and asked for a new line at 25 quid is it just that simple? Will they come and put the 2nd line in and I pay for talk talk and that will be it?

Or is there more to it than that. Very tempted to just order it here.

Cheers

Nicky

Yup, they will install another line. Usually they use the same cable from the first line, just using the spare unused wires to another master socket (cousin has BT while I have o2 in the same building). But surely going for the BT Infinity option 2 with you still contributing will end up cheaper instead of paying for two lines? Not to mention TalkTalk is perhaps one of the worst ISPs to go to. I kept getting disconnections to no net during peak times until I moved to o2.

Orcvader thanks for your reply.

You are correct it would be cheaper, but It means that my line will only have me on it so I wont get lag spikes when someone is downloading :)

Have you check bethere phone+broadband it will cost you about £27 a month and is truly unlimited.
I believe you can still get a £35 cashback via quidco and few more if you were referred.
