Im currently running 2 loops.

loop1 ddc ultra>CPU>mosfet>NB>GT stealth360
loop2 ddc ultra>4890>pa120.3

the thing is i dont think im maximising cooling potential with loop 2 so im thinking of making 1 loop using both pumps with a dual top and getting rid of the reservoirs and fitting a fillport.

is this worth doing? or am i going to see no improvement?

I would run a seperate loop for the video card. It makes it easier to upgrade later if anything else. I wish I had done that and will next time I make a change.

I would keep the second loop as you will need it if you decide to Xfire - both of my 4870's put out allot of heat.

Duel pumps offers you some assurance that if a single pump failing every thing still works (simular to RAID 1)
And you can always use the koolance quick connectors to solve the gpu swapping issue (cheaper that a full loop as well)
Would be worth selling the 2x120.3 and getting a single 120.4 or 140.3 if you did go single loop but others know more about this sort of thing than me...

i wont be going xfire no point with my max res of 1680x1050, was thinking more of when i finally get my I7 set up.

i suppose im just looking at doing some playing really!! havent had he pc apart for a couple of weeks :)

was thinking of getting quad or prehaps the 140.3, will have to keep the stealth 360 in the roof now ive cut the grill out :)

well i changed and the results are a bit weird??

idle temps on CPU are higher but 5C lower under load, GPU emps dont even move from 38C so overall it was worth doing
