2 monitor noob question

any limitations if i get a 2nd monitor that is HDMI ? my default one is dvi, this second screen i have only has VGA and HMDI, my gcard (rad 290x) has HDMI, so just need to find a cable

Can I just a standard hmdi cable as I am pretty sure my gcard has hmdi

Yeah all working for me now. One on dvi and one on HDMI. Same gcard

only thing that i can't figure out, is the HMDI seems to steal the 'default' monitor spot, when i want it to be the DVI one,

i know you can set screen 1 and screen 2 in windows, however i wonder if i can set anywhere else ?
