2 monitor setup 9 (dvi/hdmi)

Hey, my main monitor is a 23" LG (dvi) and i have another monitor/tv (hdmi) but i'm not to sure on its size. Maybe 18-19". Ive tryed to have both connected before but ran into issues where the picture would not fit the screen and the colors where orange and yellowish (this also happened while trying to set it alone as my main monitor).

I'm really hope someone can help me as i'm looking into a dual monitor setup

Right there are 2 issues here ...

1 the colour problems ..... Is this only with your PC ? And does it work on other PC's ? If not this could be the cable or the connection.

2 when you do connect a second screen in this way and it not the same size/resoloution you need to set it up as an extended desktop and then go to the desktop options in windows and set the resolution for each screen.

I use the monitor/tv at the moment for watching tv and its fine, i also used to use it with my PS3 with HDMI and no problems. Yes i set it as extended desktop but there was a small black border around the edge of the screen (3-4" thick maybe)

Do you have an AMD gpu ?? If you do when you use a HDMI cable to connect to your pc there is a scaling option you need to adjust that should remove the edge.

Yes i have a 7950 but i do not have CCC installed, only the driver. So i'm assuming i would have to re-install all my graphics drivers? Or can i just add CCC to it now

Just install the latest CCC it should cover it all.
