You sure you configured it correctly in windows etc.? Not sure haven't tried one myself but this thing works as a USB addon: http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=100-U2-UV12-A1&family=USB If you looking for faster response time etc. get a cheap 2 port graphics card if you just want to add another display not for gaming for e.g.
