Trying to work out the best way to set this up. Apologies if not the correct forum!

I currently have my main pc, hooked up to a single 24" monitor.

I am now going to be working from home full time and my work have given me a new 24" monitor and a laptop with docking station.

What is the best way to hook up all this so that I can use both monitors with each pc/laptop.

I.e main pc is on - I get to use both monitors, but then when I want to work on my laptop/docking station, I want to use both the monitors.

Also what option to do the same with a single keyboard/mouse??

Thanks!

For the mouse/keyboard you can use a KVM switch.

For the monitor part of this though, it will be different. I don't think you'll be able to display the main PC on the laptop screen.

For the laptop however, you should be able to use both screens. Connect the docking station video out to the second input on your monitor (hopefully has two) now in windows press WIN+P until 'extend' is selected.

EDIT:
OK, think I mis-read - so you have 2x24" monitors and a laptop screen?

yeah - laptop will be closed when attached to the docking station. I have 2 x 24" screens so I will be using my normal keyboard and mouse (i.e not using the laptop other than the programs and work on it as the laptop will be closed when attached to the docking station - if that makes sense. No need to the main pc to be displayed on the laptop - just on the 24" x 2 screens.
