Evening all,

I'm trying to drive 2 monitors from my laptop such that I can extend the desktop across both (and not just repeat the same screen twice). I'm aware of the Matrox DualHead2Go device which would appear to do the job, are there any other devices/do I have any other options for achieving this?

Thanks!

is this the XPS m1330, as per your sig?

a quick google image search suggest both VGA and HDMI compatibility, so it may be possible to hook these up without an external video card.

do you require both monitors IN ADDITION to the laptop screen (making 3), or just the 2 monitors? if the latter, you might be able to find a compatible Dell docking station on fleabay or somewhere, they typically support 2 DVI outputs

Most of the time you cant use the screen as well as the 2 video outputs so close the lid to turn off the screen when you hook up the 2 video ports. 1 VGA and 1 HDMI
