Im just wondering, if i have 2 19" TFT's, would it make a big difference if my gfx card was 256mb or 512mb? i would only be playing games on 1 monitor off course, but as the output would be to 2 monitors, would the extra RAM come into play, or is it just for high resolutions?

specifically thinking of x1800xt 512mb and x1900xt 256mb

depends if the second screen is active in anyway.

For dual screen use i use a x1300pro in the second pci-e slot with the second screen plugged into it, this seems to free up something, i get the same fps in games with 2 screens like that but when i had them on 1 card it suffered.

I seriously doubt that memory capacity would be a problem if only one screen is active, i would go for the x1900

think the memory size would only help if your using both at high res

playing WoW on one screen here while posting this on another both at 1280x1024 with a 6800 LE no problem

Shouldn't make any difference. The second monitor displaying the windows desktop will use very little memory. I've got 3 screens and get the same 3dmark score with all 3 monitors plugged in as i do with just the 1 (with 3dmark running on the middle screen).
