I wanted to set up a test network that is segregated from the main home network, but I want my Main PC to connect to both. The main home network provides internet access, the test network is stand alone.
Effectively, I do not want my Main PC to do anything with NIC 2, other than allow the virtual machines I run on it, to be bridged on to the network provided by Router 2 to communicate with the assorted PCs and laptops which are physically on that network.
This all works fine. The problem is when ever I have NIC 2 enabled on the Main PC, it seems to interfere with the internet connection provided by Router 1 on NIC 1. Page loading time becomes very slow and some pages won't load at all. As soon as I disable NIC 2, the problem is solved.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could cause the problem?
Router 1 (Main router, this was existing and is the main home network, connected to Internet. DHCP enabled - 192.168.2.xxx)
