Hello
I currently run two screens of a GTX580, a month or so back one of the screens started playing up with it eventually not displaying anything. As i needed a replacement ona really tight budget i got a samsung sync mater sa10 of Ebay for less than £20, however... it only has VGA and it keeps flickering.
I've swapped the cable, the adapter and also tried swapping ports on GPU to see if it was the card playing up but it wasnt.
lastly the screen size isn't identical to the other monitor (Hanns-g HW191D)
I use the left screen for gaming / videos - so mainly fifa, world of tanks, rocksmith and soon to be BF4
The right screen is mainly just my internet / work screen which normally has web based stuff, ms apps used on it and very occasionally video.
What i could do with as my HannsG monitor has a few dead pixels (quite some years old) is two new monitors. Need them to look identical, i am on a tight budget so dont want to be spending much over £125ish on each. The model must not be end of line as chances are i'll get one this month, one next month and don't want it going out of stock.
Size wise, the two i have are 19's, dont want smaller, most i could go is up to 23/24" due to desk space. both must be DVI
Oh and just to add i have looked on the site and noticed there's quite a lot in my budget, that just made it more confusing
Any suggestions?
