2 NICs - how to tell windows which to use for internet?

I got two nics, one 100mb to my wireless NAT gateway which is connected to my ADSL router and one thats a 1000mb with a direct cable connection to a linux server.

Now because WinXP is just crap! it randomly decides to use the gig connection to attempt to resolve/surf internet with.

the 100mb I have setup with 192.168 and the 1000mb is setup with 10.0.

How do i set a NIC as default?

Ninja Edit: I may have just solved this myself by removing the Default Gateway in the TCP/IP settings of the gig nic.

go into

network connections
advanced
advanced settings

and you can order connections as to which windows uses m8

Or you can add persistent static routes via a dos prompt.
