Hi Guys,

I am currently building a I7 PC and want to know if i should have 2 loops or 1

I will be cooling 920 D0 (will overclock) MOSFET, NB and the GPU (295 or 285) by water.

RAD will be a 120.3 (not decided on any parts yet)

I was originaly planning one one loop, but heard that one loop with the CPU and GPU in it will make thinks a little hot.

If i get a good RAD will I be able to just have one loop?

cheers guys

I think a CPU, full motherboard and GPU all in one loop will push it.
I wouldn't expect great temps as the 920 alone kicks out quite a bit of heat when you start pushing 4.0GHz.

If you have the space could you not stick the GPU on a separate loop?
What case are you going for?

going for the lian li PC-A71B

I think I will try one loop at first and if the temps are stupied I'll add another loop for the GPU.

What RADS are people using for there single loops to cool as much stuff as me?

At least a decent thick triple, i have personally always used Thermochill and would recommend them, the XSPC RX series and Feser rads are also worth looking into.

Good luck sourcing one, but yes one of the feser monsta's would qualify as a good radiator :)

I use feser. I hear they're difficult people to deal with as a retailer, but their radiators are good. A triple will cope with the heatload just fine but may run the water hotter than you like. If you get to the point of a second radiator, a second pump and seperating the cpu and gpu(s) is the normal way to go about it. I'm not saying I wouldn't just put two radiators in a single loop with everything else, but the standard answer is two loops

Can you fit a second 240 or even 360?
