My Dad has 2 Windows 7 PCs in his office and both have been recently locking up, where you have to physically reboot. if it was one PC i could understand something failing but both at the same time seems a bit iffy. Both PCs are running malwarebytes premium, so i would hope that rules virus/malware out. they are connecting to an Asus router on an ADSL Line and share files via a Synology NAS Drive.
They are both quite old because of legacy software one is i5 650 and the other some triple core am3. any suggestions appreciated (i cant goto windows 10 just get that one out the way), I will add there is a very old 10/100 Network switch as well, could this cause an issue if it was on its way out
My computer crashed again – I tried to copy/save a file from an email to my job folder. Then everything locked up & froze.
*** crashed as well – He was on the West Berks Councils web site trying to use their interactive map – locked up & froze same as mine. His as done twice this week.
