Hi folks,

I wonder if there is any cheap hardware/software that any of you know of that would allow 2 keyboards, 2 monitors and 2 mice to allow 2 people to use 1 PC "box" simaltaneously.

Especially given the dual core nature of current PC's I was simply wondering if me and my girlfriend could use the same computer (im planning on building) without having 2 buy two sets of expensive hardware.

I think y'all get the picture now....

Thanks in advance for any helpfull replies!

Dam.

well these days loads of people plug two screens in and you could do that easily enough but im not sure on the mouse + keyboard thing, youd deffinatly need a rpogram for that...if there is one, unfortunatly i do not know of such a thing. :(

Already been discussed, don't bother as hard drive performance would be taxed, the current power of systems at the moment is not at the level to deal with the lack of prediction through using two users.

Yep, not too expensive to just buy an uber budget rig. It really wouldn't be worth trying the running 2 users off one idea, especially if you're planning on anything cpu intensive like gaming.
