Hey all,

ive got a Thermaltake VH6000BWS Armor case and the large fan on the side of the case is only a 2-pin connector. i've looked on my motherboard (Asus Maximus) and can only see 3 pin fan sockets (CPU fan, pwr fan etc). The only 2 pin ones i found all said "Opt_Temp1,2,3"

any ideas of i can put the 2 pin on the 3pin? :O

It depends what the connector on the fan looks like, post a picture if you can.

The three connectors on the standard fan are +ve, -ve and fan speed. Providing the connector matches up then it should work just fine, you just won't be able to tell how fast its spinning!

PK!

That must fit into an adapter. Was there not one supplied? Else, connect the red wire to the 12v line (Normally yellow in colour) and the black to either of the blacks on a molex connector.

pretty sure it was connected to something. although ive taken both sides of the case off, i cant see anything inside there at the moment.
