Sorry I tried searching but the 2 or two just gets omitted from the search :(

I got meself a 80mm Panaflo fan but the connector is a 2 pin one and I don't know how to connect it lol. Do I need and adapter or can it be used with what I already have?

Cheers

Billy :)

sounds like it's come out of a PSU or something

you may be able to slice the connector down the middle and use it on a normal 3-pin fan header - wouldn't be very secure though :o

You can buy the Panaflo fan 3 pin tails in the UK,i just bought 2 x 80mm fan's and they came with the same 2 pin connection. The end that plugs into the fan itself should be 2 wire but plug is 3 wire & the motherboard end will be 2 pin? Search Google UK for Panaflo NMB-MAT fans and you should find the only UK dealer look further down the dealers page and you will see the 3 pin fan tails. :)

had similar problem when zalman died, i got AC NV6 from mate for nothing, to my suprise the 2-pin connector doesn't fit in the cards connector, so i cut the housing off the connector and it fits nicely now :D

Thanks for the replys, think I'll try cutting the housing off. What way do you connect it if the wires are blue and red? All my others are like black/red/yellow.

I'll be careful :)

Forget my last post anyway cos I've just seen the +/- where the wires connect to the fan so I know where to stick em now. Funny how I didn't see them when I had the fan in my hand lol, only just noticed them in the picture I took :D
