2 Player Lan Game Suggestions..

Sister is bringing her boyfriend to stay next week.When they stayed over Xmas we played deltaforce BHD to death over my 2 pcs and he loved it.What I'm after are great 2 player fun games that can be played over a LAN that don't require weeks of learning or huge keyboard maps.

I've already got UT 2004,Quake3,Doom3,Flatout and Worms World Party installed but I need more suggestions..Anyone help out? I want to really wind my sister up this time and keep him gaming for the full week they are here for hehe.
 
Battlefield 2 with the Lan bot mod ;)

That would have hours in that one!

If he likes strategy games, Dawn Of War is great for 2 player co-op.
 
freelancer.. after a hour anyone will have the keys sussed and a good idea of the gameplay. it's not hard to learn and is a game made even better when played as co-op.

vietcong, again a cheap game and co-op's pretty good fun. the AI are good shots and may taunt you lol.. 'vietcong-purple heart' is the orginal game+fist alpha addon, there are also mods that can be found at the dev's site which contain more co-op missions, such as in red dawn where you can play as the VC.

Good stuff so far! I've just dug out Starcraft and Halflife from a dusty CD carry case :D Forgot I had them tbh.

Keep the suggestions coming..anything I can download for free?
