2 port DVI switch problem

Hey,

My HD TV supports DVI as its HD input.
My PS3 has a HDMI>DVI connected to the TV.
My 360 has a VGA>DVI connection the TV.

Both work great.

I bought a DVI port switch box so I can switch between the PS3 and Xbox 360. Plugged both devices in and the PS3 works but the 360 doesn't? Screen just remains black (TV would usually say "TV Input not supported" or something similar)

Anyone got any ideas why this would occur? Rather annoying as I doubt I'll get a refund on the item :(

Does the switch support DVI-I and DVI-D? Sounds as if it only does DVI-D, as the 360 only can output in an analogue signal, so it'll need DVI-I.

Your correct, unfortunately there is no switch at the moment that supports an analogue signal, which is highly annoying.
