2 port hub/switch ??

i need a 2 port hub / switch very small and tiny, as it will be used to fit into a compact space, and it cant be a splitter any idea peeps ?

Sounds like a crossover cable! Do you really mean 2 ports?

If you're splitting a port into two you actually need 3 ports. One for each end device, one to uplink via crossover cable to the intermediary device.
3 port hubs/switches are hard to come by but 4 or 5 port ones are widely available and are often very compact. Around 15-20cm square by 2cm deep.

Sounds like he's trying to split one cable to go to two different devices, but doesn't want or have the space for a 5/8 port switch.

i found a 3 port switch which is what i needed i dont have a clue why i said 2 ..... but thanks anyways guys

its for some security cam stuff all of it needs to be compact and 4 is just overkill and way to big for the size i need

you can split cat5 as a cable if it only uses 100meg. (100meg only uses two pairs of the 4)
