Hi,

Apart from the Tj-07, are there any other cases that could take a pa120.3 rad and hold 2 psu's internally? I know of the MountainMods cases (but I don't like those).

Hi,

Well I asked about modding the tj-07 (a uk watercooling specialist) with the pa120.3, unfortunatley I'd only be able to use 1 psu. The rad would have to be mounted in the bottom of the case, if mounted on the top it would cover 2 inches of the motherboard. I'm running Crossfire (1900's), you would not believe how power hungry a fully loaded system can be. 2 psu's would give me the option of running 2 seperate water loops without concern (cpu, gpu's) , I'm just about to rma my third psu now to try another (1 Seasonic 600w (still have it), rmaing 2nd Tagan 900w). Most of the multi rail psu's fail when under heavy load, giving bsod's and lock ups. Crossloading requirements of multi rail psu's is the killer. I just want the flexibility of going for a pelt if I wish in the future, so having the space for 2 psu's would be nice. The only issue is that not many cases seem to have 2 plates for the psu's and I can't be arsed to get into that kind of modding.

Well I finally nailed my psu problem today, basically the fan control for my ati cards was a little to relaxed for running the overclocked settings in CCC. I have set up a new fan profile and now everything runs fine. These cards get really hot in some cases, when the temps hit over 85 degrees, instability causes games and 3d apps to lock. By default CCC does not really ramp up the fans until the gpu hits around 90 degrees, this was just too high to allow the overclock function in CCC to be stable.

So I suppose I could get away with one psu now. Which opens up a lot of doors for cases. Those anodised g70's look great (to me anyway), but the price is quite high. I'll see if I can get one powder coated to my specs with a 120.3 pre-fitted.

Thanks for all the help/replies guys.
