2 PSUs into one system

hey i want to run 2 psus into one system (my 1kw is not longer enough)
Just wondering if runing 2 diffrent psus into the gpus and mobo would cause problems (i.e. kill things)
I wouldn't mix psus on the same gpus although i would probally have 1 of he 4 cards powered off a diffrent one and a the mobo would be on this second one - any ideas?

you shouldnt need to do it but if you choose to it wont cause any problems.

Same guy is looking at peltiers I think

Isn't there an issue with turning them both on at once, and a second one with each psu having a different concept of ground?
