lo folks, im currently in the process of switching my loop around somewhat, i started with a bay/rez combo but just got hold of a d5 and a xspc photon tube rez.

i thought id bang it all together last night, but realised that id have to redo my loop again in a few days anyway as i have something else arriving that i might be adding and im also going to be switching the tubing/coolant too.

Now, im currently runnning both the bay rez pump and the D5, its all very quiet (d5 on around half speed, bay rez pump isnt variable) and i actually like having both the rez's.

will it have a negative effect, not so much on temps (they are around 28 degrees idle, 34 under load at the moment) but will they burn each others pump out or anything?

Thanks!

the loops going:

bay rez + pump > tube rez > d5 > gfx card > cpu > rad. (going to be adding another rad in soon)

It would be better if the pumps are the same, otherwise second pump will either get more or less feed from the first(unless you have a way of measuring each).

i cant think of a way to measure both (without of course getting flow meters after each of them.

my thinking is that the tube rez will be taking any extra pressure as its not filled all the way up? so if the D5 isnt running as fast as the one in the pump/rez combo, then anything it cant shift, would just go into the tube rez?
