Hello, so before and during the holidays i didnt get to buy anything i asked about or get to finish my systems till now and ive had a rethink about the usage of my 5900x build.

So question 1 - Is the RX series the oldest amd cards still supported or is there one slightly older?

question 2 - Driver support and power requirements aside. is the gtx 1050 a big improvement or any improvement over the R9 380 4GB? i still got the R9 and older cards which im trying to sell, but this is for the retro build, so i dont need to worry about driver support as long as theres a windows 10 driver.

So far as I know, only cards with the RDNA architecture (RX 5000/6000/7000) are in active driver support, with Polaris (RX 400/500) and Vega updated "as and when" AMD see fit. Anything older is retired.
