2 Questions about Zen

I'm moving house on the 24th, and have arranged with BT to cancel my current line and switch it over to the new place on the 23rd. My new ADSL provider will be zen. I have two questions:

1) Can I place my order with zen now? I have the phone number for the new line, although obviously it won't be active until the 23rd. If I order now, will dragons appear and swallow it, or will they sensibly wait until the 23rd before processing it? Even better, will they process the bits they need to now and just do the whole activation-y thingie after the 23rd?

2) The zen site lets me have 8 ip addresses, but says this is a "no-NAT" option. I take it that I get 8 ip's assigned and can route behind them however I want? So I can have 2 nat networks and then 3-4 different servers behind these?

1. I would call Zen and check with them. I remember recently someone asking the same question on ADSL Guide and I think they said it was possible.

2. As long as your router supports it then yes you can do that.

Re Q2: You wont get 8 usable IP's, you'll end up with 5, 3 get swollowed up.

And you can do whatever you want with them, for instance I have part of my network behind a NAT router, but my main PC has a direct IP connection to the Internet.
