2 questions regarding my Bungalow, and development

Hi guys,

2 questions which I hope someone can point me in the right direction for.

I've been living here for almost 2 and a half years and have pretty much completely restored every single section of it (can do a seperate thread if people like) and now I'm looking outside the house.

I live in a semi detached and I have a shared driveway, the shared driveway is shared with the family NOT attached to the house, see below.

So my first question is, I want to knock down the wall out the front and lower the kerb to improve driveway space/access - whats the process for going about this?

and secondly - I want to find out how old this place is, my Dad owns it so he might have the deed but is there a way to find out otherwise?

- So I will need to contact the local council to quote the work? Ok great I will give them a call. I take it I won't need planning permission?

Without the wall you could go in at a 45 degree angle using the same lowered curb part as you do now?

Think I would just do that and spend the money on something else, a jet washer maybe and some vinegar to kill those drive weeds/algae?

The wall is going either way, yes it will make life a lot easier but lowering the kerb will increase property value anywas as it adds more useable drive space. Plus unless I go at an angle my car wont go up without scraping.

And those weeds etc are long gone, thats a good maps picture. My sister sold that Peugeot over a year ago.

Thanks for all the information all
