2 questions regarding xp install on a cf card

1) is it possible to put an xp install on a cf card (not bothered about slip stream ing my cf cards pretty big) - if so - how would i got abou it

2) is it possible to boot from it via a usb reader?

it will be really really slow, and it wont really work on other PCs, why u wanna do it?

because i have a new set up to test and its not liking my current windows install, and i cant afford a clean 1 as this computer is shared (i dotn have another hd)
