The vibrations of the pump are now pretty much the only noise I will hear, I know as I have the fans running during the test too. How can I stop it? Is it safe to put the pump on a foam pad or something?

Small bubbles every 10 second or so, will they dissapate?

In brief,

Yes* and yes.

It also helps to rock the case back and forth a little to disturb any collected bubbles in the tubes

*A "shoggy sandwich" would be suitable to mount a pump on. Alternatively and having tried both, I prefer to have the pump suspended from it's reservoir tubing, absorbs which vibrations very well indeed.

I amnot brave enough to try dangling it lol. Just slid a foam pad under it and the pump is now damn near silent :D

I had to mount the EK pump I had on the foam pad they supply with the mounting kit, then had to stand that on some soft silicone tubing pieces taped together in a triangular fashion, so it kinda forms a work bench platform for the pump to sit on.

The foam pad got rid of the high end vibration and the silicone tubing nerfed the low end vibration completely.
