2 Quick 8800GT Questions

Is there anyway of turning off shared system memory and total available graphics memory in Nv Panel ? Because for some reason it's showing 1271MB Total Available Memory & 759MB Shared Video memory, and if it's possible will it make any difference in performance ?
Also does anyone else's 8800 start making a high pitched whine/squeal when showing over 1000 FPS ?

Yes, they all do it. Aparently its the capacitors making the noise and nothing to worry about...

hohoho, can you provide a screenshot for that? i think everybody here would like to see it (if you are not from saturn).

Edit: sorry, if it is a really question. I've never got over 1000FPS even with my 88Ultra. But the noise is always there when the card is full loaded.

It's not 1000 FPS in-game, it's mainly when connecting to servers
