2 quick questions before i click buy

all ordered YAY!!! should all be here by wednesday however ill be getting sloshed as thats my last exam that day so nothing will probs get done bout it until the following weekend
 
don't you worry i know the drill, photos or it didn't happen, you'll have to wait for them tho. When i get the bits and start putting it together i'll put a load of photos in the case section for you as that seems to be where all the build phots go.
 
oh for gods sake! best give em a webnote to tell em to swap the cooler then as the northbridge heatsink on the board im after looks bigger than that on the Gigabyte EP45-DS3P. :(:( this bodes well for my future upgrade. any idea what will fit?

hmmmm should fit, i got a cm 690, however they are rather expensive them thermalrights
 
i can't as i didn't buy everything from this site however the basics of it is, all the above mentioned, mobo, cooler, fan controller, a 500gb western digital caviar black, 3 more fans and some other little bits like cable management stuff etc.

Most coolers will fit in there im sure, i just need something that will clear the motherboard :( my little phase of excitement has been cut short

what about the akasa nero? or titan? i know you can't answer all these questions siumatfung and appreciate your help but i'm unwilling to spend the extra as it'll come out of my potential second 4850 fund. i'm hoping there'll be someone out there with another cooler in the £30 range that will fit tho if it comes to it i'll have to get it. would the sunbeam be able to be roatated 90 degrees with it blowing out the top as it might fit then?
 
Well ive sent ocuk a webnote saying to hold my order for now, and asked if one of their guys can verify what things will be fine on the motherboard, i was considering titan, didn't think about tuniq tower tho. I'll see what they say. thanks for your help anyways hopefully it gets sorted quickly.
 
yea well i'll see tomorrow, however i need to revise and go sleep as i've got an exam tomorrow morning, i'll let you know how it goes (the cooler issue that is not the exam). Thanks again and goodnight
 
yea they replied sed it was fine, so i guess im sticking with the sunbeam

as expected the physics exam went awful, i don't even do physics i do maths but they want us to learn it, i should have scraped a pass hopefully but never was much of a physicist. My other exams haven't gone too bad so should bump the scores up. still another 2 to go this was the one i was expecting to be nasty tho so thankfully it's over. Atleast i had some good news after the exam i suppose, half of my stuff has been dispatched but where i told ocuk to hold the order the fan controller, hsf and hdd should be dispatched tomorrow.
