2 Random Questions [x360]

Hi all,

two random questions are below, have meant to ask these for ages:

1: I'm on a 1 meg connection, using xp pro and ICS to connect to xbox live with a usb modem. Why is it that when i log into my live profile account (on the console), 50% of the time it gives me an message saying i cant connect connect to xbox live (i get the options "ok" or "run connection test". I run the connection test, resign in and connect as normal. Why does it do this?

2: What are reasonable asking prices for Doom 3 and Ninja Gaiden, so i can play them on my 360. I have just checked a local store and they are both £18 new - this seems kind of expensive for an old xbox game, i dunno....

well ignore the question about doom 3, just picked that up for under £10.

Problem 1 could be a DNS issue, as i get them all the time with ICS, Unless I manually provide the DNS servers

I set the DNS servers manually under network settings in windows.

do a google for your providers DNS servers. And set them, see if that works.

Ninja Gaiden Black can be found on a well known auction site for a tenner brand new.

I did actually try that a few weeks ago, but this problem remains for some reason. Its so stupid, i do a connection test and connect straight after. Usually i connection instantly, but sometimes this stupid error described above appears :/

Bought it the other day myself. Runs perfect too which is good as some other old xbox games dont run that well on the 360.

do these two titles look on the 360. E.g. a played doom 3 on max'd settings on PC when the game was new and it looked ace (PC was too old though).
