is there a way i can have say a mouse for each screen, goin dual soon wondering how i would go about playing a game one one screen and doing IM and irc etc.. on the other

You can do that with one mouse, well i could anyway. I had dual screens for a couple of days, and i could play a game on one screen and move my cursor to the other screen to use another application.
But 2 mice would be pointless anyway unless you can use both your hands and eyes for 2 different things at the same time, which you cant

you can do it with one keyboard and mouse, not too sure if you cane set it to require a keyboard and mouse each.
