Hi, with my new system i am going to be gaming in 3d/2d at 120 hz on my acer screen. I would also like to have a 2nd smaller screen for things on the side while having the game running on the main screen, is it possible to have the 2nd at 60hz running separately off the same gpu?

Yes you can, I am running 2 monitors off a Radeon 5850 with one at 75Hz and the other at 60Hz.
