Hi i was just wondering what people do with 2 screens. I have tried using 2 in the past but when you play a game for example unless you run in windowed mode there other is more or less unusable. Also if you where to be using the net and typing a doc for example, you can only look at one at a time.

So what to people do with 2 screens i might be buying a new one soon and have this as a 2nd let me know :)

Whenever I have used two in the past they have been more than usefull!

Handy if I am doing any work and need to keep checking some text or an email etc... Means I don't have to keep flicking backwards and forwards between windows...

Very useful for a number of reasons:

1. Compare documents side by side
2. Email in one, document/webpage/application in the other
3. Game on primary, dvd or video file on secondary
4. If gaming on one in windowed or not windowed can see msn or teamspeak etc

Wouldnt go back now!

I used to run triple CRT's at work for many years. It's good, if your work involves documents/editing. Other than that, at home, you will find you have to create uses for it. I'm not saying it doesn't have a use, some people clearly like it and have adapted tasks to take advantage of it.

For me, at home, the excess space and electricity required is not very appealing when I could just as easily click an icon in my task bar.

If you do go for extra screens try and make sure they have HDMI. That way you can use them for TV/Consoles/DVD players and not just on your PC. It's easier to justify the cost to the wife/gf/mum that way too. Just.
