2 Sennheiser gaming headphones.

Whats the difference between the two headphones?

Sennheiser PC161 Pro-Gaming Headset

And

Sennheiser PC166 Pro-Gaming USB Headset

Is it simply the added USB in the 166 that makes the difference, or do the 161s posses extra technology etc.

I think the top one will plug into your speaker outputs - and the other into a USB socket. I'd buy which ever one you have free (probably more likely to be a USB socket).

166 = a USB soundcard.
161 = Mic and minijack connection for onboard/soundcard.
