sorry for bad title, couldn't think of a better one.

wondering if its possible to have a siebar but with 2 layers using css?

for instance what i have is the main part and then the sidebar on the left split into 3 parts, the middle containing a list of links, but they are too long and messy so i'd like to be able to sort them out into 2 parts like tabs but jhave it so it wont load another page.

i can make a picture if my explanation is too terrible

thanks

also got another wondering, what file type should i save a picture at that would make it so when nothing is filling a space it is transparent? i have corners on my navigation menu buttons which are transparent which works fine in FF 2.0 when saved as a .png but not in IE, it has the corners as white.

thanks again

ok this is a very bad and rough image, colours etc aren't the sites colours, just example.

as you can see there is 3 boxes on the left in the sidebar. Its box number 2 that im talking about that i would like to make it so that it starts with links for instance of website design, but if you click on the white box it will load a second set of links for say for instance great forums, but wont have to reload the page, just the box will change.

again bad explination but hoping someone will know what i mean

ok just found out that it is defienlty possible and all thanks to the ocuk website, but im still stuck on how its done.

here is the link to a page with the idea on it: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-015-SA&tool=3

what im wanting is the tabs thing, where you can load description, or reviews. is this a simple thing to do?

ok now another thing, how do i make it so only FF reads the code? I know i need to put an underscore both something for only IE but not what FF is.
